I’m singer-songwriter Erin Hart of IslandGirlMusic. For more than a decade, I’ve been writing and performing feel-good tunes for all ages. Last year, a series of inspiring events prompted me to start writing kids’ songs. I am thrilled to create this new project dedicated specifically to encouraging and uplifting children.

“From the first time our then 2-year-old heard Erin’s music he made an instant connection with the positive lyrics and her outgoing demeanor. Her music became his coping mechanism to deal with any tough times.
Throughout the pandemic, our son became even more drawn to Erin’s music as a constant during unknown times. During this time, he became interested in learning to play the ukulele so he could play music just like her.
Erin’s positive songs continued to draw our son in as he developed a love for music. He has now taken two years of ukulele lessons and with the release of Erin’s new children’s-based music he has been diligently working to learn as much of her music as possible, and even felt confident enough to play “Teddy’s Song” for his entire first-grade class.
As parents, our kids’ love for Erin’s music has been unbelievable on multiple levels. Having music with positive messages available to kids without being traditional “children’s music” has been amazing, we are able to all enjoy it as a family as we each go follow our dreams.”
